The average church going person has been taught to use prayer as a means to control, move, or manipulate GOD into doing what they want HIM to do. If we engage in any action that is intended to control or manipulate others to do what we want them to do we are in actuality practicing witchcraft or voodoo. Most church going people do not know that the word “prayer” is a noun which describes a person, place or a thing. The conjugation of the word prayer: prayer, pray, and praying is similar to the word: player, play, and playing. A basketball player is a professional or expert at playing basketball. Any person can play basketball and may love playing but they are not a player. Anyone can pray and may love praying but he or she is not a prayer or one whom GOD can use to intercede on our behalf.
